DR.PERITO
Dr. Paul Perito
Dr. Perito, currently resides in Miami, Florida. After graduating from medical school, he specialised in General Surgery and Urology.
Following a fellowship in Australia, he founded his private practice to pursue his passion for men’s health, and currently performs an average of 500 penile implants per year. Working in this field, he consistently heard patients express dissatisfaction with their penile length and circumference.
“I could give details of what happens physiologically to the male organism. But, the reality is that once you become impotent, the penis loses size,” said Perito.
Contrary to popular belief, penile shrinkage isn’t caused by penile implants but rather erectile dysfunction itself.
When dealing with men whose penises and self-esteem both atrophied, Dr. Perito’s search for safe and medically viable solutions began. He and his team were involved in several studies to find the best way to treat this underserved population of patients. Other solutions, such as the placement of vascular grafts or non-organic fillers in the penis proved to be unsatisfactory, unsafe or ineffective.
How did the idea of the UroFill® technique come about?
Dr. Paul Perito pursued several concepts to increase the diameter of the penis.
“I’ve been performing penile implants for 25 years, but I only really started looking at the issue of girth about 15 years ago,” said Dr. Perito.
In time, Dr. Perito’s focus shifted toward creating a specific technique to increase penile girth with hyaluronic acid. Dr. Perito refined this approach and developed the UroFill® technique.
Why can only urologists be certified in the UroFill® technique?
According to Dr. Paul Perito, the most important thing about the UroFill® technique is its safety and effectiveness. UroFill® was patented to ensure that only urologists — doctors who specialize in the male genitourinary system — can be certified in the technique.
It is also worth noting that this is the only non-surgical method of penis thickening for aesthetic purposes patented by the U.S. Patent Office (USPO). Being recognized by the North American regulatory agency is one of the factors that prove the scientific rigor of the technique.
Urologists who wish to qualify in the method must complete the official UroFill™ Technique Training to receive certification. This provides patients with the assurance of predictable, top-quality results.
“All of our providers are highly qualified and have years of experience in General and Urological Surgery,” says Dr. Perito.
